The Gypsy Quilter® Cozies

The bowl cozy is available in pre-cut batting packs or as a template to trace and cut your own.

The large bowl cozy and plate cozy pre-cut batting packs make four of each size. The batting is microwave safe. Be sure to use 100% cotton thread when sewing.

The Casserole Dish Hot Pad includes pre-cut insulating material. The package makes one heat resistant – not heat proof Hot Pad.

Dance with Atkinson Designs

I love Terry’s designs as much as her descriptions: Less hip movement and more strip movement! Scraps and strips will dance together inside the built-in border. Now THAT is a perfect description for a class!

This design can be made with charm squares for a scrappy look. Choose strips or fat eighths for a controlled look as shown on the back cover. Or make two placemats instead of a table runner.

This would be a great beginner class – and is so easy to kit! A charm pack and a yard of fabric will make two! These patterns are due to arrive the middle of April so order them now!

Kristine Poor of Poorhouse Quilt Designs is an expert on interfacings. Her latest series of oven mitts supports a heat resistant Bosal product that withstands heat up to 450 degrees.

The oven mitts are pre-cut. One package makes a mitt.

This follow up to the best selling Tabletastic by Doug Leko won’t be released until May so I can’t share too much. But I know many of you have developed a table runner of the month class based on the original book – and wanted to let you know that you can continue those classes with projects from the sequel!

Pillows are Back

Ask anyone under 30! Pillows are back in a big way! They are a great way to add a splash of color to the popular monochromatic color schemes – and can be switched out for any holiday or season.

Why not start a series of videos sharing a different technique in a pillow class? The kits are affordable and – once again – it is a great way to introduce the next generation to quilting!

These Holly Jolly Gnomes designed by The Whole Country Caboodle are simply adorable! The pattern features four different gnomes: Reindeer Gnome, Snowflake Gnome, Santa Gnome, and Papa Gnome. With names like that, they could move right in with the Smurfs and feel right at home!

The booklet includes instructions for a mug rug, pillow, pillow wrap, and canister wrap. Many feature homespun towels as a base.

I can already see these as the basis of gifts for next year. Why not start a holiday club in January? Feature projects like this that make great gifts for everyone on your list – including the pets! Table Runners with A Modern Flare

What a great series of classes or online videos! Why not offer a table runner of the month instead of a block of the month? The designs are dramatic but simple so most of the work can be done in class. And, many of the runners offer opportunities to teach different techniques and tools.

The book is reasonably priced and most of the patterns require fat eighths so they are easy – and affordable to kit!
