We’ve waited all year for the annual Witch’s Faire! As soon as you walk into the clearing, you’ll pass by the Pumpkin Scarecrow. Every year it seems larger! This pattern is the first of the Witch’s Faire Block of the Month Series and contains the assembly directions for the entire quilt along with the first embroidered block. Colored pencil tinting and very simple embroidery along with very easy quilt piecing make this an easy stitch! There are appliqued pennant banners at the top of the quilt, and you can use your favorite method to apply them. Have fun at the Faire!

For those of you who loved Cat Scratch, there is now a dog version: Tail Wags Quilt – a Puppy Quilt Pattern.This quilt is going to the dogs! This 51″ x 51.5″ quilt features seven puppy blocks, balls and bones. Use this 45 degree Kaleidoscope ruler to cut designs created with eight separate 45 degree triangle units such as kaleidoscopes and Dresden Plate blocks. These triangles can also be pieced into a saw tooth border. Cut triangles up to a finished height of 8 inches to piece blocks that measure up to a finished size of 16 inches. A 1/4 inch dashed line is printed on each side of the center vertical line so you can cut 22-1/2 degree triangles that include the seam allowance.
