The Kristin tote bag has a sleek silhouette and simple design that is beginner-friendly to make! This tote is spacious on the inside and a blank canvas on the outside, eager to feature embellishments or printed fabrics. This pattern was inspired by the Kristin Davis, and the character she played who was traditional, fashionable, bright and optimistic!

This bag is an adorably small crossbody purse or wrist bag. It’s a quick project to sew and an easy way to master the mini-handbag trend. Toss one on with your favorite athleisure outfit for errands, or carry it with you on your next night out. You’ll love this bag’s lightweight, hands-free design while on the go.

New from Robin Pickens

I LOVE this! It is stunning using a dark background! The Posies table runner and placemats are based on Robin’s Ring Around the Posies flowers. The lovely bloom of flowers on your tabletop are made from Charm Pack 5″ squares or Fat Eighths of fabric. This is also great for scraps! Table runner sized 42 1/2″ x 14 1/2″ and each of the 4 placemats is 18 1/2″ x 13 1/2″.

Check out the version done with a lighter background.

Use a charm pack, layer cake, or fat quarters to make this quilt of curves that radiate out from a center square. The background is just as important as the prints with 3 background colors adding movement and contrast. Make as a small wall quilt or larger lap size. Consider optional curved corners. Paper template included but a Creative Grids® Circle Savvy Ruler is recommended in instructions with notes on which ruler cut lines to use for this project.

Robin is a big fan of the Creative Grids® Circle Savvy Tool.

New from Deb Heatherly and Cut Loose Press

What a great scrap quilt! Just 12 fat quarters or 3 yards of scraps, plus the borders, binding and backing is all you need to create this stunning quilt.

Deb lives in the Great Smoky Mountains and says that in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s, this was called a postcard quilt because quilters used a postcard for the template to cut the pieces for this quilt. Don’t you love that little bit of history? Now the Creative Grids® 3 ½” wide ruler make cutting these pieces easy as pie!

What a great scrap quilt! The quilt is made with just two alternating blocks. Since one of those blocks is the hourglass or quarter-square triangle, the alternating pieced four-patch block looks like they are set on point. This adds a dramatic element to the quilt that is oh sew easy to achieve!

Another great scrap quilt! Just 12 quarter yard cuts or 3 yards of scraps, plus the four B’s: background, borders, binding and backing is all you need to create this stunning quilt. Since the points are made with the Creative Grids® Strippy Star Tool, they float so every point is perfect, every time. The Creative Grids® Cat’s Cradle Tool is used to make the nine-patch variation in the center of each block. What a great way to learn how to use both tools and make an heirloom quality quilt along the way!

Don’t you love the way Deb has extended the star points into the middle border?

These are three new patterns By Annie and “reboots” of two favorites! You know if they are By Annie, they are quality through and through! Minimal supplies and just a little bit of time are all you need to make this simple wallet in three versions: one pocket, two pocket, and three pocket.

Use them to organize and carry cash, credit cards, loyalty cards, coupons, and more. Tuck in a gift card as a perfect gift for anyone on your list! The wallets are sized to fit in a pocket or small purse and have a flap with a hook & loop closure for secure storage.

Carry all the essentials in this streamlined wallet/purse in two sizes. Each purse features a flap that folds over and closes easily with hidden magnetic snaps. Hidden between the interior zippered pockets and the slip pocket is another small compartment — it’s a good spot for a shopping list or keys! And beyond the slip pocket is another hidden pocket unit with slots to hold credit cards, room keys, loyalty cards, cash, and more.

NOTE: This project has many pieces and multiple layers so is recommended for intermediate to advanced sewists using a sewing machine that can handle bulk. Courtside is an involved project that makes a great class for intermediate to advanced sewists. Students need a machine that can handle bulk, so it won’t be appropriate for many small take-to-class machines.

IMPORTANT:
We recommend that students read the pattern and watch the Add-on Videos before coming to class. To make best use of class time, we also recommend that they come to class with everything cut out and labeled for their project and that they complete the basic steps to cut and quilt the fabrics for the project.

So, they should complete all of step I. Cut and Quilt on pages 2 and 3 BEFORE coming to class.

Pretty and practical, these zippered bags with side handles and diagonal borders are quick and easy to make. The pattern includes complete instructions for bags in three sizes. They make great gifts!

SMALL: This smart bag will carry your most important beauty supplies or other personal items and will fit easily in many purses or bags.

MEDIUM: Not too small and not too big, this bag fits neatly into a larger purse or your favorite tote and will carry and protect a variety of supplies.

LARGE: For more than the basics, this spacious bag holds bottles, brushes, and more. Use it to organize a diaper bag or use more masculine fabrics to make a great toiletry bag for a guy.

Ditty Bags 2.0 is an update of our popular Ditty Bags pattern which was originally released in 2012. In addition to greatly improving the illustrations, we updated the instructions to make assembly easier and included instructions for working with directional fabrics. We put handles on both ends and changed the border to a diagonal border, adding the option of embellishing the border with decorative ribbon. We slightly tweaked some of the measurements and improved the process of attaching the Bag Sides to make a bag that ends up nice and square and stands up easily.

Carry lunch (or daily needs) in style in these compact yet roomy bags! Each features a zip-around, gusseted closure and sturdy base. Outer slip pockets and interior mesh pockets hold an ice pack, napkins, utensils, and more. ByAnnie’s Soft and Stable gives great stability, provides insulation for contents, and ensures that the bag will look great after repeated use/laundering.

The bags are also perfect for storing an iron at home or carrying it to class. The small bag will hold a mini iron such as the Oliso Mini and the large will fit many standard home irons. Be sure to measure your iron before sewing.

Out to Lunch 2.0 is an update of our popular Out to Lunch pattern which was originally released in 2016. In addition to improving the illustrations, we added a second size, updated the instructions to make assembly easier, improved the process of attaching the side panels to each side, and
added hardware to the handles which gives the option of attaching a carrying strap.

You will LOVE this new version!
