Tula Pink Style

Tula Pink is a bright and shining star. She is on the forefront of every trend in the industry – and in this case, creates them! Her new book – Coloring with Thread is due out before Christmas. Check this out:

I see inspirations of crewelwork, cross-stitch, and traditional embroidery but in Tula’s hands, it becomes a whole new art form that will inspire a new generation. I can’t wait for this one!

Need demos for that holiday open house? We’ve got you covered. There are excellent Cut Loose Press™ patterns that feature Creative Grids® rulers that will have your customers making multiples for gifts as well.

Capiz Lanterns looks like a modern version of our favorite tree ornament.  It is oh so simple to make with the Oval Always tool by Karla Alexander.

Deb Heatherly creates these ornaments with the 4″ version of the Log Cabin Curvy tool.

And just look at the variety of trees….

Jean Ann created this tree by combining the 8″ log cabin trim tool with the curvy version of the same size.

These trees were all made with a 30-degree angle.

Karla Alexander’s Crazy Christmas Trees has been in the top 10 patterns since its release!

This snowman table runner is a great choice for the entire winter!

Best news? Everything is in stock and ready for your holiday events!

Sew Stars for Texas

Amy Barickman has been attending Market for over twenty years so Houston, Texas has become a second home.  In addition, her mother’s quilt shop was flooded several years ago so she personally experienced the devastation that a flood can bring.  So when the hurricane hit Texas, she wanted to help and came up with a brilliant idea.

Amy is donating $1.00 for every Wall Art Stars pattern sold.  Think of it as a Texas Star.

Don’t forget to order plenty of interfacing packages as well.  These packages include a free ornament pattern as well as a pressing sheet.

Why not add a class or demo to your Fall schedule and collect donations to help the cause?  Once your customers know the technique, they will want to have more options.  Visit our website to see all of the Fabriflair options.

The Newest from Stash Lab Quilts

Tonya Alexander from Stash Lab Quilts has been on my radar since her book – Stash Lab was released. So, I was thrilled to see that she is releasing four new patterns just in time for Market.

Diamonds in the Rough includes instructions for two sizes of quilts. Don’t you love this modern version of the classic 1,000 pyramids? Pressed Leaves is a traditional pattern that looks so modern with a newsprint type background.

I love appliique – and love this modern take on it in Blue Dahlia. Once again there are instructions for two sizes and fusible options. Cavanaugh Crossroads can be made with scrappy backgrounds or tone it down with just one (but don’t you love the scrappy version)? Bonus? It is fat quarter friendly!

Stash Lab is still available – and gives a modern take on scrap quilts.

This gal is talented. I can’t wait to see what she does next!

Sassafras Lane Has Spiced It Up Again!

I love the creativity of the gals from Sassafras Lane and their Fall releases are better than ever! In this case, a picture is worth a thousand words – and six pics? Even better!

Their new Block of the Month is stunning and the other patterns showcase their winning style. All of the patterns are arriving at the end of the month so order them now.

Catch the Wave!

The Wave ruler by Creative Grids®, designed by Judy Niemeyer, adds movement to any quilt. In December, Windy Day will be available which features several patterns that use the Wave.

Some of the patterns use Charm Element packs and some don’t. Traditional four-patches and nine-patches are also pieced – and then waved – to create brand new designs.

I just used this tool to curve the outer edge of a baby quilt/table topper and can’t wait to share that with you as well!  Stay tuned….

Elizabeth Hartman Does It Again!

Just in time for Market, Elizabeth Hartman is releasing three new patterns due to arrive the first week in November. Delightful Desert includes nine new animal and plant designs – and could be the basis of your next Block of the Month program!

This pattern is fat quarter friendly – and is available in bundles featuring a new fabric line called Terrarium by Robert Kaufman which is due to arrive in February. The fabrics for this quilt are also available as a kit:

Greenhouse features five new plants and can be made in three different sizes. It is 10-inch square friendly.  The fabric is available in 10-inch squares as well.

The fabrics for this quilt will also be available in kit form:

Lisa the Unicorn is 2 1/2 inch strip friendly and of course, you can order strip packs! The pattern includes instructions for two sizes of quilts as well as a floor pillow.

Just look at the colors in this fabric line – available in warm and cool colors:

The gradations in this line are stunning! Order everything now because you know it will sell out fast!

Simple Harvest Arriving Just in Time for Fall

I love everything Kim Diehl and have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of her new book – due in just two short weeks. But now I have pics to share of the projects – and as expected, Kim outdid herself! In this case I am just going to let the projects speak for themselves!
