Totes with Style and Structure

I love these two totes by Penny Sturgis!  The Tool Tote has pockets all around the outside AND the inside so it is the perfect class companion.  Grandma who believed – a place for everything and everything in its place – would be proud!  This bag is about 15″ long x 10″ wide x 7″ tall.

 

 

 

 

The pattern includes the hardware – a heavy duty metal form that keeps the bag open when needed. This frame is also sold separately because who can make just one? After all, it makes a great diaper bag, teacher bag, scrap booking bag….you get the picture!

 

Or use the same frame to make a Featherweight sewing machine bag.  (But it would hold anything – or any small machine.)

The Perfect Retreat Gift

Many of you are planning Fall retreats or events so when I saw these bags by Tacony, I thought of you.  They are reasonably priced and would be great “party favors” for ANY event.

Holsters Aren’t Just for Cowboys

I love, love, love, this new product because it has a wealth of uses!  These stickers by Gudrun Erla of GE Designs are reusable, repositionable, and stick to rulers, mats, fabric, and sewing machines!

Each package contains one sheet of each color – turquoise, pink and lime green.  There are 64 arrow stickers per sheet – for a total of 192 stickers for just $7.95!

They are easily removable and don’t leave any residue. Mark the cutting lines on your mat for fast, accurate and consistent cutting.  And, if need be, write on them with a permanent marker or wet erase pens.

Around the holidays there are always new customers who want to buy a sewing basket for someone who has shown an interest in quilting.  Why not stock these decorative carriers and display them with your favorite notions – pins, needles, seam rippers and scissors for sewers; rotary cutters, rulers; applique pins; Wonder clips; etc.  Let them “build” their own version of a sewing basket.
