This quilt throw by Margot of Pattern Basket is made of two different blocks, the trees and stars. Combined they make a darling throw. Choose Fall or holiday colors, or both! What a great use of 10″ squares!
This row quilt would be great broken down as a block of the month.
Pumpkins and owls – what could be cuter???
Margot makes this complicated looking block doable for anyone.
These patterns are due to arrive in August so place your orders now.
I love Fall and love the muted tones that Margot uses in her newest patterns from The Pattern Basket. Pumpkin Charms is made with just one charm pack, but if you are like me and love these little guys, you may want to buy more than one!
This is the most creative leaf pattern I have ever seen! Don’t you love the star incorporated into the base of every leaf?
Although this is called Cross Stitch, the colors and design remind me of an old fashioned oak leaf block.
All of these patterns are due to arrive next month, just in time for a new Fall project!
Christmas Wishes is a perfect three month “block of the month”. Make the trees one month, the presents the next, and put it all together in the third month. Fifteen trees or 15 presents are very doable in that time frame. AND they will have plenty of time to get it quilted and bound by the next holiday season!
Add that awe factor by tagging the presents with family names.
Merry and Bright is another pattern that could be broken down into a three month series of classes. Do the small stars one month, the plain stars another, and the intricate pieced stars in the final class. While this is shown in holiday colors, it would be a perfect choice for a summer patriotic quilt as well.
North Star is a stunning lap quilt. The background fabric makes the stars shine and is a perfect backdrop for some exquisite quilting.
All of these patterns are due to arrive in the next few weeks so place your orders now.
Hocus Pocus is a darling pumpkin quilt that is cut from 10″ squares, a fat quarter, background and binding. I have included a pic of the back of the pattern so you can see the yardage requirements. Why not cut your own and use up some bolts of orange, black and gray?
Her Cardinal quilt uses ten inch square as well:
Think Spring or even Christmas???
Some are in stock now – more are expected next week so order today!
Block Talk uses 40 – 10″ squares and panels, T-Shirts or a large focal print for the main squares. Add the accent fabrics and the kit is complete!
Hopscotch Happy uses 10 inch, 5 inch OR fat quarters!
Dwell 2 is a nice size quilt using 10 inch squares, a background, binding and one other fabric.
If you NEED 10 inch squares, we have them! Follow this link or search within the fabric tab for 10in squares – not everyone calls them layer cakes. Then you can click on the In Stock icon to see what is available when you are placing your order.
Kit on demand! Put pics of some layer cakes on Facebook with the names and as your customers order them, pick out the additional yardage required. They trust your judgment!
These three new patterns by The Pattern Basket are due to arrive later this month. Christmas in a Jar and Watering Cans are both pieced blocks. Each block has its own personality. Make the entire project or just one to frame – or why not do both???
This butterfly quilt uses 10″ squares to create a scrappy look. What a perfect summer quilt!
Why not pull a variety of “happy” prints and make a display? A fat quarter display would be the perfect companion!
