Minis are Marvelous!

This series of mini quilt patterns are due to arrive next month and are a great way to use up scraps AND perfect your piecing skills. But don’t panic because these little babies are paper-pieced!

All of the quilts measure just six by eight inches! And the patterns are very reasonably priced – that was an unexpected surprise!

Sherri Hisey has developed her own line of foundation paper. It has a rough texture so it doesn’t slide under the pressure foot and comes in two sizes. Both can be run through a printer so no tracing required!

I can’t wait to try this! Why not teach a paper-piecing class and let the students try it? What a great use of those 2-1/2 inch squares and other mini pre-cuts!

Jo Morton’s Style – all in one place

This is the third in a series of miniature quilts that were previously only available to club members. What does that mean for you? You get all of the patterns in one place – and know that they have been thoroughly tested and approved  by quilters all over the world!

Jo Morton is a legend in our industry and her books reflect that. I didn’t reduce the size of any of these pics because the photography is what draws me to her designs. I don’t just want the quilts – I want the furniture, the knickknacks, the log cabin…..

The book – which is due to arrive next month – includes sixteen mini projects. It is already in the top 50 books so order now so you won’t have to wait!
