The Wreath Quilt Sampler

In Krista’s words: The Wreath Quilt Sampler (#TQL10023) is a fun, fresh addition to your holiday decor. It’s composed of six different blocks or concepts, each one teaching a new technique using the Creative Grids® 60-Degree Diamond Mini Ruler. The shapes are simple, and the construction is a breeze, building your quilt block by block with no Y seams! Work from your stash or collect a variety of reds and greens and enjoy the process of shade and color placement to get the complete effect. Finished size: 55″ x 55″.

All of the units are created with the Creative Grids® 60 Degree Diamond Mini (#CGR60DIAMINI). The quilt can be made with the Creative Grids® 60 Degree Diamond (#CGR60DIA) as well – but since the pieces are smaller, it is much easier to manipulate the mini!

Krista does such great support for everything and her latest addition is no exception! She has created cutting charts for the diamond rulers. These charts show how many triangles or diamonds can be cut from each width of fabric strip. And while you are there, stay awhile and check out her other videos. You will be glad you did!

Biggie the Bee is Buzzing

This newest quilt by Krista Moser was just shown for the first time May 3rd – and the response has been crazy! Everybody is “buzzing” about it so order plenty now!

This 42 x 48-inch baby size quilt – or an adorable wall hanging – is made with the original Creative Grids® Diamond ruler. That means the pieces are big, beautiful, and oh sew easy to piece. There are no “Y” seams so it is beginner-friendly.

Don’t you love the way she uses stripes and buffalo plaids in unexpected ways? She also used some Essex cotton – which has the feel and texture of linen – to add to the tactile vibe. Here is the back as well so you can start getting fabrics together.

I can’t wait to dive into my black and white and gray and honey fabrics……I might even throw in a few polka dots….

Made with 2-1/2in strips, the Semaphore Stripes quilt is the perfect way to use striped fabric to make a secondary design without all the complicated piecing stripes typically require, and it’s jelly roll friendly! This quilt combines strip-piecing with a few well-placed Y seams to get the most dramatic effect. The pieces are large and uncomplicated, letting the fabric do the talking.

The Big Sky Bloom quilt is perfect for a little girls room, or as a cheerful answer to any room’s dreary decor. This pattern uses several features of the Creative Grids 60 degree Diamond ruler and has beautifully illustrated easy to follow instructions. Remember the name Krista Moser because she is going to be a superstar! This gal has it all, talent, color sense, marketing sense – and the most important of all of the senses – common sense! When a relatively new designer has four patterns in the top 100, I take notice – and you should too!

Krista designed the Creative Grids® newest 60-degree Diamond ruler. This Cut Loose Press™ pattern is so simple, even I could make it. It is all done out of 2-1/2″ strips which makes it easy to market!

Several new patterns will be arriving soon that feature the Creative Grids® sixty degree triangle.

I love these new patterns by Krista Moser of The Quilted Life. I was not familiar with her work but now will be a follower! She is one of those designers that span all age groups – and that is not easy! All of these patterns look totally different but are all created with the same ruler with an extra one needed for the Champagne and Pearls.
