New Releases by Edyta Sitar

California is obviously agreeing with her because Edyta Sitar of Laundry Basket Quilts is designing a wide variety of projects – each with her classic style.

I love applique so this is definitely my favorite.  Did you notice that the applique borders don’t meet at the corners?  This gives you a little bit of a fudge factor so you can applique all of them before attaching it to the quilt.  How portable is that??

No pictures yet, but the item numbers for the pre-packaged appliques are on the website. For those of you who have her latest blue line of fabrics, the following quilts are a great way to use up some scraps!

I love earth tones so these quilts spoke to me and show why Edyta is the queen of color! Once again, the appliques are available.

Need some instant gratification?  Why not choose this darling design that is a perfect wall hanging or pillow.

You already know who will want them so why not share this article and have your customers pre-order them?

Anyone who is an Edyta Sitar fan knows that she has moved to sunny California.  Her latest designs are inspired by that change of scenery.

This self-published book is not due to arrive until October but may affect your fabric choices NOW!  The book begins with a gallery of antique quilts that inspired our love of this colorway. Edyta has included patterns for seventeen of her own designs inspired by the past.

Help your customers find the right tool for their mini projects!   There is also a tri-fold available to help your customers keep track of the Creative Grids® products they already have… or want! The book is chock full of techniques that will improve your piecing skills and others that will have you thinking outside of the box!  I love quilts that are created from blocks – but the blocks are so well hidden that the quilt flows into an entire scene.  This quilt has taken that concept to a whole new level!

So why not plant your garden….one block at a time!

To make it easier to create this variety of fabrics, she is releasing triangle paper next month.  The papers are designed for 5″ and 10″ squares – and come in multiple sizes.  Each package includes 25 sheets.

The number of triangles created from a package depends on the size of the triangles.  For example, a package of 1 1/2″ finished triangle papers designed for five inch squares makes 200 triangles.
