New Non-Stick Sewing Needles

I love this idea – and can’t wait to try them! Schmetz will be releasing these needles this month. They have several features that you will love. The non-stick finish means that the needles won’t “gum up” when sewing through fusibles, Velcro, and other materials with adhesives.

But my favorite part? The eye is equal to a needle that is two sizes larger. For instance, the 70/10 eye is equivalent to a 90/14 eye. That means I can actually thread the needle and use a variety of embroidery threads – no problem! The point of the needle is designed to easily penetrate all fabrics including denim and eliminate skipped stitches.
