The latest from Laura Heine

Innocence is a wall hanging that is charming and has a special meaning for Laura. In her words: This is a personal quilt. I made it with scraps that I have collected over a period of time. I am hoping that you will make it personal for you too. All pieces were scraps or no bigger than fat 1/8’s. Use the swatch photo as a guide, or change it to suit yourself. All proceeds of this pattern will be donated to Sisters of the Movement. Check them out at sistersofthemovement.org

My family are math geeks so I am always drawn to Ruth Ann Berry’s quilts. They are all made from 60 degree triangles with no inset seams!

A Unicorn Named Nola…

Two new patterns by Laura Heine are due to arrive this month and are sure to be as popular as her other designs.

Nola measures 35 x 47 inches – the perfect size for the center of a baby quilt or the focus of a nursery. But this whimsical unicorn will take center stage wherever she is placed!

Song Bird measures 30 inches square and is stunning on a dark background. I wonder how it would look on a light background??? Maybe you should make both???
