Combination Quilts

I love combination quilts! They give me the variety I love with the added visual interest I crave. Shaded Stars is a perfect example of combining two techniques – strip piecing and paper-piecing. And, just look at the results!

Memory Trellis is made with a bias tape maker with all fabric cut on the straight of grain. A full size pattern is available separately to aid in placement or blow up the drawing included in the pattern. The tape is fused onto the background so all of the lines are perfectly straight – no pin distortion.

The showcased center is bound like a mini quilt and attached to the center with velcro so it can be changed as the need arises.
