Book Signings at the Checker Booth at Market

 Darlene Zimmerman:

Darlene is signing free copies of her book – Quilting the Complete Guide – at the fabric tables (Booth #900) Friday, Saturday, AND Sunday from 10:00 – 11:00.  If you sign up for her Clothesline Club or order any of her fabric, she will also autograph a fat quarter of a coordinate that can be used in one of your Clothesline Club projects!  How cool is that!  She will sign 50 books a day – and the fat quarters until they are gone.  If you have not yet scheduled an appointment with a sales rep to look at fabric, call in 1-800-537-1060 ext 630 and schedule it NOW!!!  Or, stop by the booth first thing, to make an appointment. 

The first 150 customers to write orders in the Checker booth will receive a free tote bag chock full of goodies – including – but not limited to – a DVD by Joan Hawley of Lazy Girl Designs, a new pattern by Far Flung Quilts; and several tablets of free patterns by Leisure Arts. 

 Joan Hawley – Lazy Girl Designs:

Joan, our favorite lazy girl, is signing free copies of her book – Bold Bags – at the Demonstration Table (Booth #1,000) Friday and Saturday from 10:00 – 11:00.  She will sign 75 books a day.  This book features seven bags using the Exclusively You line of Mock Croc or Faux Leather panels, handles and embellishments.  Stop by and visit with one of our favorite people!





Terrie Kralik:



Terrie will be signing free copies of three of her books – 90 Minute Fabric Fun; Forest of Quilts; Quilted Forest Decor; and some of her patterns Friday from 11:00 – 12:00 –  at the Demonstration Table (Booth #1,000).  Her new book is a departure from her wildlife and nature books.  If you love fabric bowls and ladder hooking, you will love this book.  Limited quanities, sorry you can only have one title and only one per store.

Janet Shipley Hawks:

Janet will be signing book plates for her new book – Sculpted Threads – from 2:00 – 3:00 on Friday at the Demonstration Table (Booth #1,000).  She will demonstrating the techniques she uses to create amazing works of art with thread!  You have to see it to believe it!  Check out her website before you go – – you won’t believe it!

Barbara Campbell and Yolanda Fundora:


They will be signing copies of their new book – Holiday Quilts – from 2:00 – 3:00 on Saturday at the Demonstration Table (Booth 1,000).  And, with every fabric order, they will be signing fat quarters of their new fabric line “Tannenbaum” that is used in all of the projects in the book.  Many of the projects incorporate directional fabrics in very creative ways.  Quanities are limited and only one per store.

Cheryl Weiderspahn:


 Cheryl will be signing free copies of her book – Low-Sew BoutiqueSunday from 10:00 – 11:00 at the Demonstration TableIf you love garage saling – is that even a word!!! – you will LOVE this woman!  She is as down to earth as you can get – literally – maybe she will tell you what happened when she birthed a calf!!!  But remember quanities are limited and only one per store.


Charlene Frable:

Charlene will be signing free copies of her book – Quilt as Desired – Sunday from 11:00 – 12:00 at the Demonstration Table (Booth #1,000).  This is the most comprehensive book I have ever seen on machine quilting on your home sewing machine!  The helpful hints are amazing!  Limited quanities and only one per store.

Rita Fishel:

If anyone misses Rita at Schoolhouse, she will be signing and selling copies of her shop workbook – Mystery Quilts -to help you host your own mystery class- at the Checker Demonstration booth #1,000.  She is multi-tasking since she will also be demonstrating the eight new Creative Grid rulers.  Stop by and see the newest  collection that is certain to make your life easier!
