Checker Announces Launch of Updated Website

Checker is proud to announce the launch of version 3 of our website.
There are many new exciting features on the site, including new tabs for floss, tapes, threads and zippers; the ability to search by promo items or video items only; the ability to see new and pre-order products; the availability of each item listed; personalization on the layout of your account screen and much more!
As this change is made the site will be down beginning at noon EST on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 until the final conversion is complete. This is expected to be approximately 2 to 3 hours.
We will convert all wishlists and baskets that have been created or saved in the last 3 months and they will appear in the new Manage Baskets section as “Wishlist From Old Site” and “Basket From Old Site”.
Every effort was made to make the site easier to search and more user-friendly. After the conversion is finished, a complete User Information Guide can be printed by logging in to your account. After successful login, select “Information”. On the bottom left under “Customer Resources” click “Using Checkerdist.com”.

I’m frustrated with the new web site. Easier to search? Am I missing something?
The best search feature of your other site was “exact match” when searching for an item. I don’t see that now.
Hmmmm.
For instance, right now I’m searching for the little motorized bias cutter that I saw at Market. Can’t find it on your site.
Maybe you really don’t have it?
Can’t believe your best selling vendors. Not looking too likely.
What has happened?
If I’m missing something, my apologies, otherwise, please, really make it easier, not just different.

Charlotte, It still has the same search capabilities, they are just now built in. I’m not sure what words you were entering as your search. With the words, bias tape or bias maker, the item you are looking for is the first on the page. As with anything new there is a learning curve. I feel with continued use you will see the benefits of this new site. If you haven’t read the “how to” which explains the new features, please do so. It can be found once you log in under “Information” at the far lright next to free resources.
